Third Woman Found Guilty In Shoe Attack

The third defendant in an attack that left a Lynchburg woman with permanent eye injuries was convicted of aggravated malicious wounding Monday. 21 year old Kadedra Carter pleaded not guilty to the February attack in which Robin Rose was stabbed in the eye with a stiletto heel. Rose suffered fractures to her skull and eye socket bones. The damage to her optic nerve from the injury to her right eye muscles is beyond repair. Witnesses testified they saw a number of women attacking another who was lying on the ground and identified Carter as being in that group. Kierra Culpepper and Jasmine Rucker, have already been found guilty of malicious wounding. Carter will be sentenced on March 15.
