Tis The Season To Dispose Of The Christmas Trees

The first of two curb-side collections of Christmas trees will take place on Saturday. For City residents with regular Monday or Tuesday trash collection, may place their undecorated Christmas trees on the curb for trash collection on January 5. For City residents with regular Wednesday or Thursday trash collection, Christmas tree collection will take place Saturday, January 12. Trees placed on the curb after January 12 will require a .95 cent trash tag. January 30 is the deadline at tree drop-offs sites. For a list of designated drop-off locations visit- www.lynchburgva.gov
