Woman Convicted In Shoe Attack

The woman charged with hitting another woman in the eye with a high-heeled shoe at Koto restaurant last Valentine’s Day was convicted yesterday of malicious wounding. Jasmine Rucker, of Lynchburg, was one of a group of women that attacked the victim. Kadedra Carter and Rucker’s sister, Kierra Culpepper are also charged with aggravated malicious wounding in the case- both have hearings set for later in the month. Prosecutors say the victim did not know her attackers—she received a serious eye injury in the attack.
