UPDATE:
A business travel survey by the Lyncbhurg Regional Airport shows the facility could attract another airline. Airport director Mark Courtney says the results indicate that United is leaving revenue off the table by not flying in and out of Lynchburg. According to the survey,local businesses use the Lynchburg airport for about half their domestic travel and half their international travel. He says that means half the passengers United could be capturing for international travel are choosing to fly US Airways instead, rather than driving to Roanoke or Dulles for United flights.
