(turn at stoplight at the end of MLK Bridge)

Proceeds go to support the local Arbor Day celebration.

During each two-hour session, participants receive rootstocks and scionwood with step-by-step instructions to make two apple trees.    Apple varieties available for grafting are Arkansas Black, Black Twig, Cox’s Orange Pippin, Grimes Golden, Smokehouse, Ralls, Virginia Beauty, Virginia (Hewes) Crab and Winesap.  Handouts on dormant wood grafting will be provided.

Bring hand pruners with you.

A professional grafting knife is included with your registration.   Knife sharpening will be demonstrated.  Extra rootstocks and scionwood will be available for purchase.
