UPDATE:
Jason Shell pleaded no contest Tuesday morning to robbery, assault and a firearm charges– then found guilty on all of them. Shell was charged in connection to an October 2011 robbery and assault of Bob Terry, the owner of Terry’s Country Corner store in Bedford County. With the plea agreement, Shell was sentenced to 18 years in prison and 10 years of supervised probation.
2/26/13: A 38-year-old man charged in the brutal attack and robbery of a popular Bedford County store owner is expected in court today. Jason Shell is charged with robbery and assault in the alleged 2011 attack. Bob Terry, the elderly owner of Terry’s Country Store, was seriously injured. Shell is expected to enter a plea in the case.
