Bedford Police Searching For Final Suspect

Bedford County authorities are still searching for the fifth suspect involved in a string of burglaries in Bedford County. Investigators say Nathan Nelms and four other men are responsible for several break-ins dating back to December. Officers say they took several items, including guns, TV’s and jewelry. Many of those stolen items were found at an apartment in Roanoke, on Bennett Drive. The other suspects have been arrested, but Nelms is still missing. Detectives say Nelms has ties to both Bedford and Roanoke, and is believed to be in the area. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office.
