Blue Angels–Will They OR Won’t They Fly The Hill City

Organizers of the Lynchburg Regional Air Show says the national budget sequestration could mean the Blue Angels won’t be making a stop at their event this year. But Retired Rear Admiral Jones Stanley is hopeful that Congress will avoid the sequester. He adds that, because nearby Air Force bases like Langley and Seymour Johnson have canceled their shows entirely because of sequestration, those fans would also likely be coming to see Lynchburg’s show.
