Budget Cuts Could Bulls-Eye Lynchburg

Automatic federal budget cuts set to take effect Friday could have an impact on the Lynchburg Regional Airport and hundreds of other small airports nationwide. Unless Congress and the White House come to an agreement, the Federal Aviation Administration says the airport’s control tower will close. Airport Manager Mark Courtney tells the news and Advance that if that happens, some procedural changes will be required, but the airport will remain open and fully function.
