CASA Needs Volunteers

Court Appointed Special Advocates of Central Virginia is in need of volunteers. CASA will begin a training session next week to teach volunteers how to investigate allegations of abuse and neglect in Lynchburg and surrounding counties. Training will begin on February 20 and is expected toast a little more than a month, with online and in-person classes. The program covers many topics including mental illness, poverty, domestic violence and substance abuse. Applications are available online at cvcasa.org
