Historical Society Hope To Document “Lincoln” Film

The Virginia Historical Society is soliciting donations from people who worked on the movie “Lincoln” during its filming in Richmond and Petersburg in 2011. They’ve so far received a palette of makeup used on Daniel Day-Lewis. That came from a Richmond makeup artist who worked as a production assistant. A Historical Society spokeswoman says it was a big part of some Virginians lives, so they want to try to document the experience.
