It’s Been A Long Road For The Governor’s Transportation Plan

Governor McDonnell’s plan for more transportation funding is starting to gain steam. A Senate Finance Committee yesterday passed its own proposal, which differs from the Governor’s. The new plan raises the gas tax instead of doing-away with it. In a statement, McDonnell said “any plan must be fiscally responsible and balanced.”
