An Alton man is accused of waving a handgun at drivers on the Route 29 bypass in Amherst County. Sheriff’s deputies found a 9mm Ruger handgun in Clarence Anthony Ferrell’s car. He’s charged with both brandishing a fire-arm and carrying a concealed weapon.
