Man Gets Five Years On Cocaine Charges

An Appomattox man will spend five years in prison for possession of cocaine with the intent to sell. 33 year old Jodie Pennix was sentenced to 15 years with all but five years suspended on the condition of 15 years good behavior and 10 years supervised probation upon release. On July 11, police discovered 23 bags of cocaine during a search of a vehicle following a traffic stop in which Pennix was a passenger.
