Police Are Called To Student Ruckus At Halifax H.S

More than two-dozen students at Halifax County High School were sent home Wednesday morning following a ruckus before the start of the school day. The Gazette Virginian reports about 25 students were told to go home once they refused to go to class after a rumor spread that a disturbance would break out in the school. Three South Boston Police officers were called to the disturbance. The School Resource Officer called for assistance as to maintain safety procedures.
