The Campbell County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing tomorrow on the disposal of the Historic Courthouse through lease, in anticipation of leasing the building to the Campbell County Historical Society. The Historical Society currently uses the building as a museum on a limited basis. According to the Altavista Journal, the society would like to improve the exposure opportunities for the building and promote tourism in the county. The public hearing will be held at 5pm Tuesday evening.
