Sewage Dumping Investigation Is Ongoing

Authorities are investigating the illegal dumping of sewage in Rocky Mount. Police say more than one septic company may be illegally dumping sewage. One person has been charged since the investigation began in January. The town’s drinking water hasn’t been affected.
