Two Franklin County elementary school employees are under arrest in a murder-for-hire scheme. Virginia State Police say 37-year-old Cathy Bennett of Rocky Mount and 47-year-old Angela Nolen of Moneta solicited an undercover detective in an attempt to kill Nolen’s ex-husband. One of the suspects is a teacher and the other a nurse at Sontag Elementary, but police won’t say which woman is which.
