Two Victories Become Fouls For One High School Basketball Team

William Fleming High School in Roanoke must forfeit two victories by the boys basketball team because an academically ineligible player was on the roster. The Virginia High School League ruled that the wins over Hidden Valley and Halifax County, which came after the final day of the school year’s first semester, won’t count. The ineligible player did not pass the required minimum of five courses.
