Appomattox Will Utilize The Siren During Upcoming Tornado Drill

County officials in Appomattox are reminding residents not to panic on Tuesday when they hear a siren ring out. According to the County’s Emergency Management Coordinator the “outdoor tornado warning siren” will be activated for three minutes, as part of a statewide Tornado Preparedness Day, as proclaimed by Gov. Bob McDonnell.
