Babcock & Wilcox says it will invest more than 16-million dollars into a facility in Bedford County. About 30 permanent jobs and 100 seasonal jobs could be created when the company’s nuclear energy subsidiary moves into a large facility in Forest as early as this summer. Babcock & Wilcox already employs more than two-thousand people in Southwest Virginia and 39 Lynchburg workers will be transferred to the Forest facility.
