On Saturday, March 23 from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon, everyone is invited to participate in the 15th Annual March on Litter event, part of the nation’s largest annual community improvement program.
The event will begin at the Lynchburg Armory (12th and Church Streets). Each participant will receive a clean-up location, orange trash bags, a safety vest, work gloves, and refreshments. Call 455-4469 to volunteer, or just meet at the Armory.
March on Litter is co-sponsored by the Lynchburg Public Works Department and Keep Lynchburg Beautiful.
