Man Shot In Leg At Local Pizza Pub

The Amherst County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning at the Pizza Wings and Things Restaurant. At approximately 130am today, a male was shot in the leg inside the restaurant at 4154 South Amherst Highway. He was treated and transported to the Emergency Department at Lynchburg General Hospital.
