Metal Product Producer Is Good News For Workers

A metal product producer will establish its first Virginia operation in Lynchburg, creating 120 new jobs. Porter’s Group, which makes items such as safes, will invest one-point-eight-million dollars in an existing manufacturing facility and hopes to start production soon. The North Carolina-based company benefited from a 300-thousand dollar state grant in deciding to come to Lynchburg.
