Public Hearing Set For Bedford County Budget

The Bedford County Supervisors will advertise a budget that includes a 3 percent raise for employees and no new taxes. The proposal does NOT include an extra 2.4 million dollars the school board had requested, or 800-thousand dollars that Sheriff Mike Brown had requested for school resource officers for elementary schools. A public hearing is set for April 8th.
