Snow & Wind Could Cause Power Outages

A pair of winter storm watches cover Southwest Virginia for tonight through Wednesday night. National Weather Service meteorologists are forecasting four to eight inches of snow for the Roanoke area with three to eight inches of snow expected in the Lynchburg area. This will be a heavy wet snow accompanied by strong, gusty winds that will not only make driving difficult, but could also topple trees and power lines.
