Virginia Companies Eye Wind Farms Off Coast of North Carolina

Two Virginia companies are looking to get involved in building wind farms off the North Carolina coast. Richmond-based Dominion Resources and Charlottesville-based Apex Wind Energy are among five businesses vying to build the wind farms. The two Virginia companies are also interested in commercial development of a lease location off the Virginia coast.
