national civil war chaplains museum logoAn event highlighting spoken word exchange of letters throughout the Civil War by Charles Minor Blackford and his wife Susan will be shared in Lynchburg. The correspondences lasted from the time he rode off to First Manassas until the Fall of Richmond. The letters eventually became the subject of “Love Letters of Lynchburg,” a series of live readings held across the country. The letters will be shared locally at a performance next Tuesday April 29, in Liberty University’s Tower Theater. The event is being presented by The National Civil War Chaplains Museum.
