An upcoming music festival in Bedford County has become an annual effort to raise money that supports local kids with Cancer. NoahFest held its first event in October of 2012. For two years, the event organizer, Micheal Okuley has staged the music festival in his son’s honor. This year the two day event at the Sedelia Center, near Big Island, will be held August 29 and 30. Okuley tells WDBJ-7, that the event is about giving kids and their families the strength to keep fighting. This year’s proceeds will go to five children in Bedford who are battling cancer.
