The Great “Copper Caper”…. an ambitious breaking and entering in Roanoke with a possible start in Lynchburg
Police say a truck stolen from Southern Air in Lynchburg was used to help thieves make off with 6,000 pounds of copper from Ferguson Enterprises in Roanoke sometime between March 29th and March 31st. The suspects stopped at a convenience store in Salem after the heist, so there are security camera pictures of them and a silver SUV getaway car. WLNI’s Gene Marrano has the story.
