Virginia's House of Delegates has unanimously adopted a resolution opposing the release of Jens Soering, a German diplomat's son who’s serving two life terms for the 1985 stabbing deaths of Derek and Nancy Haysom in Bedford County. The resolution reflects the General Assembly's disfavor at former Gov. Tim Kaine's request that Soering be transferred to a German prison. He could be released from a German prison in two years.
