A Lynchburg man is accused of robbing an elderly Lynchburg woman of her purse this week. Lynchburg police say Harrison Roberts targeted the 74-year-old victim as she walked alone along Rivermont Avenue Monday, grabbing her purse and running away. Police were able to catch him about 20-minutes later on Bedford Avenue. Lynchburg Police say Roberts also admitted to snatching a purse from a 73-year-old woman last year at a Langhorne Road drugstore.
