A prisoner at the Lynchburg Adult Detention Center has apparently committed suicide. The Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority says that guards found Christopher Lee, 24, unconscious in his cell at approximately 5:15 p.m. Wednesday. He was pronounced dead later at Lynchburg General Hospital. Lee had been held since April and was serving a sentence of two years seven months that stemmed from a larceny charge.
