Tea Partys says no news media or recording devices at meeting
The Lynchburg Tea Party says no news media or recording devices will be allowed at its August 5th meeting with guest speakers State Senator Robert Hurt and Congressman Bob Goodlatte. Tea party chair Mark Lloyd says the group's members did not want the media to be present because it would create a "circus" atmosphere. Lloyd says the meeting will be a more personal, one-on-one setting without lights and microphones. The meeting will be limited to Lynchburg Tea Party members and regular participants who have shown up for most meetings.
