From the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office: Petitions for a juvenile have been obtained and served in reference to a bomb threat made at Brookville High School on Thursday, September 11, 2014. The juvenile was a student of that respective school. Law enforcement officials searched the facility the day of the threat; no suspicious devices were found. When questioned, the suspected juvenile admitted that the threat was a hoax and that there was no bomb on the premises. The juvenile is 15 years of age and the charge is classified as a Class 5 Felony. A Class 5 felony carries a term of imprisonment up to 10 years. Sergeant Russ Glass, School Resource Officer at Brookville High School, conducted the investigation and obtained the petitions.
