Gleaning For The World is responding to the tornadoes that have torn across the Midwest and Southern United States. The Concord-based relief organization is wasting no time helping out, sending out its first shipment this morning. Gleaning for the World works to provide life-saving supplies to victims of poverty and devastation — usually surplus corporate goods that would otherwise head for landfills. Founder and President Rev. Ron Davidson says they’re prepared to deliver additional supplies as needed as new reports of tornado damage come in.
