Almost two dozen projects aimed at improving the health of area residents have received grant funding from the Centra Foundation. The nearly 514-thousand dollars will go towards local programs that are meeting the needs identified in the latest Community Health Needs Assessment. Amazement Square, Johnson Health Center, The Free Clinic of Central Virginia, the YMCA and Gleaning for the World are but a few of the organizations receiving money from the Centra Foundation grant.
