From Lynchburg Police Department: On February 12, 2016, the Lynchburg Police Department Forensics Unit in coordination with the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce and the Columbia Missouri Police Department completed a joint Child Exploitation investigation which began in December 2014. The investigation culminated in the arrest of 32 year old, Robert “Bobby” Blaine Trent of Lynchburg, VA for 10 counts of production of child pornography, 5 counts of Taking Indecent Liberties with a child 13 years of age or under, and 10 counts of Use of a Computer/Communication system in the commission of the above referenced offenses. Trent is currently being held without bond at the Lynchburg Adult Detention Center.
