Lynchburg officials say a woman driving a van Monday at Cranehill and Langhorne Road, ran through the light and landed in the embankment. Emergency responders worked to get her and her dog out of the vehicle. Sources say she was taken to Lynchburg General with non-life-threatening injuries. The accident is under investigation.
