Following a tip to law enforcement in October, nearly $1 million in marijuana was discovered in Fluvanna and Nelson counties. Two men, now face a string of drug charges following the search that found a total of 282 plants. 65 year old, Floyd J. Suddarth of Fluvanna, and 64 year old, David C. Ragland Jr., of Schuyler, are charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, manufacturing marijuana, conspiracy to manufacture marijuana and conspiracy to possess marijuana with intent to distribute. According to investigators, more than 40 weapons and about $14,000 in cash were also seized in that bust.
