Amherst man charged with child pornography

An Amherst man is charged with possessing child pornography. Last Friday,  investigators with the Amherst County Sheriff’s Office acted on information from The Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce and The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and searched a home on Plantation Court in Amherst County.  34-year old Philip N. Harris was taken into custody based on the evidence collected.
