A Lynchburg man will serve less than a year in jail for strangling and assaulting a woman during a domestic dispute. 29 year old, Anthony Lee Bowling, pleaded guilty to the charges on Monday and was sentenced to a total of six months for the strangulation and assaulting of a family member back in March. According to the News & Advance, Bowling was arrested in May after being accused of strangling and shooting a woman. The woman later admitted she accidentally shot herself. Bowling will be credited for the time he has already served.
