Appomattox Man Airlifted to UVA

An Appomattox man had to be airlifted to UVA after he was hit by a truck Saturday. Authorities say 35-year-old Hunter Jones was in the roadway in front of his home on Salem Road near Spout Spring when he was hit. Jones No charges have been filed at this time, and the accident is still under investigation. No word on his condition.
