From the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office: On 1/29/2016 the office responded in the area of River Field Farm Lane and River Rd for a “shots fired” call. Upon arrival there was one victim of a gunshot wound who was transported by Nelson Rescue for non-life threatening injuries. Currently there is an ongoing investigation regarding this incident. Person of Interest/Wanted: (Considered Armed and Dangerous) Do NOT approach, contact Law Enforcement. Currently Wanted: Carlton Gregory Currier. 22 year old male, 5’9”, 165lbs, brown hair, green eyes. Currently wanted on felony charges from another jurisdiction, unrelated charges to this incident. Possibly driving a 1998 4dr Toyota Camry VA License: AEP-4099 – Tan In Color.
