A judge has denied a bond request for a Nelson County woman convicted earlier this year of arson. In March, 59 year old, Linda Campbell not guilty of murder of a family friend and arson in the 2009 fire–but found her guilty of obtaining money by false pretenses. She also was convicted of two counts of arson in the other two fires and sentenced to six years and three months in prison. Blackwell sought bond at a June 27 hearing; officials confirmed Monday, that the judge ruled to deny that request, out of a concern for public safety.
