Due to yesterday’s winter-storm, the case against a Lovingston woman charged with murder will be put off one more day. 58 year old, Linda Campbell Blackwell faces the charge in connection to the August 2009 death of James Shelton Sr. in a house fire. She faces more charges in two other house fires that took place on the same property in Nelson County in February of 2012 and again last May. Prosecutors say Blackwell intentionally set the fires and obtained money by false pretenses. The jury trial was slated to start today but will begin at 9:30 tomorrow morning.
