Authorities continued Sunday to search a part of Smith Mountain Lake that is described as an underwater forest to find the body of a Vinton man who is believed to have drowned when his bass boat collided Thursday night with a cabin cruiser. The News & Advance reports, after four nights and three days of searching, authorities were no closer to finding 73-year-old Ronald Lemons or the two boats that sank upon impact. According to the article, crews will continuing to search the surface and shoreline for signs of Lemons.
