centra logoCentra’s new Autism Diagnostic Center based at Bridges Treatment Center in Lynchburg began accepting application this month. The ADC will use a combination of diagnostic tests and clinical evaluations to assess children ages 3 and above. The center will start testing children in mid-March; no physician referral is needed. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that 1 in 88 children in the U.S. — and more than 90,000 Virginians — have an autism spectrum disorder.
