Be Alert As School Systems Open

Authorities are reminding motorists to be more alert of buses and pedestrians, as many school systems open this week. Schools start today in Appomattox and Franklin counties. Thursday is the opening for Bedford County schools. Then next week, Amherst and Campbell and the city of Roanoke. Roanoke County and the City of Lynchburg don’t open until the 25th.
