“A Storybook Christmas”
Bedford’s Annual Christmas Parade
CVABC / Forest, VA — Along with tree trimming; hanging stockings; and those overseeing Elves on shelves, the telling of Christmas stories has long been a holiday tradition. “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King”; “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer”; “The Gift of the Magi”; And of course, Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”, have been told generation after generation, through music, film and print.
Central Virginia Business Coalition is excited to announce this year’s Bedford Christmas Parade theme as, “A Storybook Christmas”. Participants have been encouraged to consider beloved holiday stories when designing their floats; from timeless classics like “The Night Before Christmas” to “Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer”!
